This hall is dedicated to the ancestors of the Chan family, and prayers are still conducted 7 times a year: ancestor’s birthdays, death anniversaries, all Soul’s Day, Chinese New Year and the Hungry Ghost festival.

Even though some family members now follow Christ, the act of honoring one’s heritage and ancestry, getting family members together becomes a treasured time for all. This part of the heritage is very important to them, that is why they still practice it now until now.
